Chess
The Java chess applet is set up for a person to play the white pieces and for the computer to respond as black. The "ply", or the number of moves the computer looks ahead, is currently set at 3. Use the "Settings" button to change these options if you'd like. When you're ready to play, press "Start". If you have a fast computer you can make the ply a bigger number and the computer will play a tougher game. The higher the number, though, the longer the computer will take between moves.
